It started at a counter in Mirpur
Farmasale did not begin as a software idea. It began in a shop where the queue forms at dusk and the boxes nobody looked at quietly go out of date on the shelf.
Where this started
It was a Tuesday evening in Mirpur. Six people were waiting at the counter, the owner had been standing there since eight that morning, and on a shelf behind him sat forty boxes of something that would expire in nine days. Nobody had looked at them all week.
That room is the whole brief. Not a dashboard and not a feature list — a counter with a queue at it, run by somebody who will judge any software on one question: did the next forty seconds get faster or slower?
Two things cost a shop like that real money every month. The first is expiry: stock bought, shelved, forgotten and written off, in amounts an owner feels but has never measured. The second is the gap between what was sold and what reached the drawer, which nobody can prove and everybody suspects.
Both come apart the same way. Know exactly what is on the shelf, which batch it came from, what it cost, when it dies and who moved it, and neither is a mystery any more. Invoicing, reporting and payroll all follow from getting that one thing right, and none of them substitute for it.
A pharmacy owner does not buy software. They buy fewer arguments about cash and fewer boxes thrown away. That is what we are trying to sell, and it is the test we hold a release to.
What we build
And the four things we will not build
-
No SMS, and no code sent to your phone
We send no text messages — not invoices, not offers, not sign-in codes. Anything that has to reach you arrives by email, which you keep, can search, and can forward to your accountant without asking us for a copy.
-
No lock-in, and no exit fee
Your catalogue, stock, sales and customer balances export to spreadsheet files from inside the product, whenever you want them, without asking us first. Stop paying and the account turns read-only with the export still sitting there.
-
Your records stay yours
We do not sell your data, rent it or hand it to anybody. Our own staff reach a pharmacy's records only when there is a reason, and every one of those visits is written down against a name and a time. You can ask us what was opened.
-
One monthly figure, with the help inside it
Setup, bringing across whatever you keep your records in today, training your counter staff and every future update are in the monthly price. None of them turns into a separate invoice six months later.
What happens when something goes wrong
You reach a person. There is nothing answering ahead of a human and no ticket number that means nothing to you. Call, send a WhatsApp message or write, and the reply comes from somebody who knows the product.
Setup is our job, not yours. Wherever you keep your records today — a spreadsheet, another system, or a register — your product list and supplier list come across first, and we sit with your counter staff until a sale takes them less time than it did before.
The hours, the channels and what each plan can expect are on the support page, and they are the real ones.
Under the hood
Four rules we do not bend
-
Stock lives at the batch, not the product
You do not hold forty of something. You hold twelve from a batch that cost one price and expires next spring, and twenty-eight from another that cost more and expires in September. Every quantity in Farmasale points at a batch, so valuation and expiry are the same fact.
-
A record is written once
Stock movements and ledger entries are never edited and never deleted. A mistake is corrected with a new entry that says what it corrects, so the history reads back the way it happened rather than the way somebody later wished it had.
-
Money is counted in whole poisha
Every amount is stored as a whole number and printed as taka. No total on a report is a rounding of a rounding, which is how a day-close ends up short by a few paisa that nobody can account for.
-
Bangla is not a translation layer
The counter runs in Bangla or English and they are the same product, written separately rather than passed through a machine. Nothing that matters exists only in English.

We are a small team and there is no wall of photographs here yet. When there is, it will be of the people who actually answer the phone rather than a stock photograph of somebody in a white coat.
Any question, straight to a person
Call, WhatsApp or email. No form gate and no sales sequence afterwards.
